Hummingbird spreads holiday cheer at Vero Beach Christmas Parade

VERO BEACH — The spirit of the season was on full display as Hummingbird Home Care helped spread holiday cheer throughout the community, debuting a festive float in the Vero Beach Christmas Parade and partnering with local organizations to support seniors in need.

The annual parade, now in its 41st year, featured 100 floats and drew more than 10,000 spectators who lined the streets, greeting participants with cheers and shouts of “Merry Christmas.”

Hummingbird’s float stood out with illuminated “wings,” colorful lights and balloons, creating a memory-making moment for paradegoers of all ages.

Beyond the parade route, the company extended its holiday mission by partnering with the Senior Resource Association and Sunrise Rotary for the Santa for Seniors program.

Staff members, healthcare professionals and community supporters contributed an overflowing collection of donated goods to help brighten the holidays for local seniors.

Company leaders said the season is about more than celebration — it is about connection, generosity and making a meaningful difference.

Through its participation in the parade and its support of Santa for Seniors, Hummingbird Home Care aimed to ensure that even a small act of kindness could help make the holidays shine a little brighter.

Known regionally for its award-winning home care services, Hummingbird continues to combine compassionate care with community involvement, creating lasting holiday memories while supporting those who need it most.
